This tent is accessible via the sunroof inside the camper and increases the sleeping capacity by 2 adults or 3 children.

The Kenai offers the most storage of all the Scout Campers and is loaded with great features. The entrance features a mudroom and drain pan to keep the interior of your camper clean and dry.
The Kenai is the only model of Scout Camper with the option to add a stow-away cassette toilet and privacy curtain. You can also get the Kenai with the optional pop-top tent.
About Scout Campers
Scout Campers are minimalist, modular, and lightweight truck campers designed to be used with a wide variety of different trucks.
These modular truck campers are made with “all-composite wall construction,” with reinforced aluminum framing, solid composite hard walls, and high-density polyurethane foam. This unique building design creates a camper that’s super lightweight, while still being durable, resistant to rot, and well insulated.
Even more unique, Scout Campers are made with amenities that can be taken out of the camper and enjoyed independently. Features like the water can and fridge can be removed and taken with you.
Part of the Adventurer Manufacturing Family of Brands
Scout Campers are made by Adventurer Manufacturing, a company that has been manufacturing RVs and campers since 1969. Today, they produce three brands of truck campers besides Scout Campers:
- Adventurer
- Eagle Cap
- Overlander (this line is being discontinued due to supply chain issues)
In fact, Scout Camper is the newest addition to the Adventurer Manufacturing family, first announced in April of 2020. Originally launched with the Olympic, they’ve now expanded to three.

Do Scout Campers Have Bathrooms?
None of the different models from Scout Campers have a bathroom included standard. However, every model does have a bathroom available as an optional add-on.
On all three models, you have the option to add a 2.6-gallon portable toilet which can be stored away when not in use. For bathing, you can use the spray wand on the jerry can as an outdoor shower.
If you choose the Kenai as your adventure rig, you also have the option to add a stow-away cassette toilet with a 360-degree privacy curtain.
Do Scout Campers Have Air Conditioning?
The Scout Campers team is reviewing options to fit air conditioning in their designs, but while Scout Campers have tons of great features, air conditioning isn’t currently one of them.
However, all models do feature solar intake/exhaust ventilation, plus the windows and skylight can be opened for further airflow.
If air conditioning is absolutely essential for you, Scout Campers recommends you contact a brand rep to explore your options.
Are Scout Campers 4-Season?
Yes! Scout Campers are 4-season campers, so you can adventure no matter the weather.
Scout Campers are constructed with high-density polyurethane foam insulation, making these truck campers comfortable even in cold weather. Plus, you can get extra warmth with the optional propane furnace, which puts out up to 4,500 BTU.
Who Scout Campers Are Best For?
