1. Visit Hart Memorial Park

Hart Memorial park holds the hidden gems that make northeast Bakersfield special. Set in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and nestled along the banks of the Kern River, this area provides plenty of water based activities for tourists. Sitting on 370 acres of land, you can enjoy fishing two major lakes. There are also plenty of hiking trails for you to enjoy.

This area is incredibly popular among hikers, cyclists, and families that just want to enjoy a picnic. There are also two disc golf courses on site, including one incredibly challenging uphill, 18 hole course.

2. Head to Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace
