Tips for Renting a Towable RV and Having it Delivered

When you rent an RV, there are several tips and tricks for you to follow. Firstly, you should look for discounts and inquire about possible deductions when you are renting. The rates of RV rentals will vary widely depending on the location, season, and duration of your trip. As a result, you should make sure to inquire about several RVs. This way you can get the best deal available to you. Furthermore, you should look for discounts when you are renting for a week or longer. Generally, owners will offer discounts on longer trips to encourage you to rent for longer. If you are already planning on renting for a long time, this is a good way to save some money.

Additionally, make sure you read the contract you sign with the owners thoroughly. Most owners will not put in anything unusual, but it is still important to know what you are signing. The most important thing to look for is what you need to do before you return the RV. For example, many owners will require that you fill up the gas tank before returning the RV.

Another thing to look out for is additional fees you can accumulate during your time with the RV. Many RV rentals will have a limit on many things such as mileage. If you exceed these limits, then you will accrue additional fees.

If you plan on having the RV delivered to you, make sure you ask what that service involves. Is the owner going to set everything up for you? Do you need to bring your own bedding and kitchen accessories? The answers to these questions are not the same for every RV, so you need to inquire about them when you are negotiating the price.

Is There an RV Rentals Delivery and Setup Fee or Cost?

There will usually be an extra fee for the owner to deliver and set up the RV for you. However, sometimes that price will be included in the listed price. Usually, the website will indicate whether there is a delivery option. If there is, the delivery price is not usually listed. As a result, you will need to contact the owner to get information on the price of delivery and setup, as well as other details that are involved with that process.

However, you need to remember that the details involved with renting and setup can vary drastically from owner to owner. So, you need to make sure you contact every owner you want to rent from. Do not assume that because you have rented from someone before that you know the rules for renting for everyone. Prices will vary significantly, and so will the service itself.

  3. Hello;

    Who coordinates the delivery of the RV with the rv park? The Renter or the RV owner? I know most rv parks expect the guest to check in and pay for site before going to site. So how does the RV owner who is delivering the RV, handle this transaction?

    Thanks
