Average Costs for RV Rentals in Chicago

If you do not own an RV, you will need to rent one if you want to go on an RV vacation. When you start your search you will quickly realize that there are big variations in rental prices. Prices are affected by a wide variety of factors. One of the biggest reasons that RVs will vary in price is their size. Larger RVs are usually more expensive than smaller options because you get more space. However, that is not the only thing that affects the price.

You will also find that driveable and towable RVs typically have a price difference. Driveable RVs are usually more expensive because they are in higher demand.

Finally, the biggest thing that affects the price is the season you are renting. If you are renting in the summer, then you can expect prices to be at their peak. However, if you are renting in the winter you can expect them to be very cheap. That is because most people go RVing during the warmer months, so there is more demand. Conversely, in the winter there is a large supply but not very much demand.

Here is a look at the average RV rental prices for different types of RVs:

RV TypeDaily Rental Price
Class A$261
Class B$270
Class C$218
Travel Trailer$113
5th Wheel$184
Pop Up Camper$94
Truck Camper$89
